Patient Privacy

Medicine has been one of the last industries in Ontario to adapt to the digital age (still reliant on fax) and Bloor Pain Specialists is trying to be a leader in this space. Our clinic’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) framework is entirely digital. We use Arya, a modern EHR solution made by doctors for doctors. Our referrals come in digitally and our reports, prescriptions, and requisitions are all sent digitally as well.

We are well aware that with the digital age, come digital risks, and Bloor Pain Specialists takes patient privacy very seriously. That’s why we use Arya EHR’s industry-standard security protocols to be compliant with PIDEDA and PHIPA laws so that each patient’s Electronic Health Records stay secure.
