Couldn’t walk or take a shower without being slouched over for months.Standing in a neutral position was impossible!! Before my injury I was cycling and doing high intense workouts without any back pain. Cycling 80 kms 5 days a week. One bad yoga move did it for me. In August, MRI confirmed L4/5 central herniation and severe spinal stenosis (exacerbated by the herniation). I’ve had two separate spinal injections since my MRI. The injections provided the time for me to rehab. Extensive pool work, McGill Big 3, and mobility plus strength training have mended the wounds. I couldn’t walk without extensive pain. I live a couple hours away from the clinic and they were able to offer a virtual consultation to save me from having to make the long drive. "I had my procedure with Dr. Ognjen Visnjevac back on October 24 of 2024. I had a Cervical epidural steroid... "I had my procedure with Dr. Ognjen Visnjevac back on October 24 of 2024. I had a Cervical epidural steroid injection (if I remember the name of the procedure correctly) due to severe neck pain from multiple injuries through my younger life with contact sports and a vehicle accident that got worse over time. The procedure was not only fast and surprisingly low pain, but within a few days I had range of motion largely returned to my neck and virtually all of the pain and discomfort I was dealing with was gone. It also only just returned this past week (June 2025) so I essentially went from October 30 to June 10 on a single 15 minute treatment without the discomfort associated with my neck issue(s). The staff as a whole were fantastic. Courteous, professional and made me feel at ease about the procedure and kept in touch in the weeks after the procedure to make sure all was progressing well. Clearpoint pharmacy who they partner with is also great because the compound ointment they provided has been great for managing the pain now that it's back. It's a good alternative to permanent procedures as there is far less risk involved and it is minimally invasive. I would highly recommend them and will certainly be back for another procedure in a few years as you can only have so many but they really do make a world of a difference." Read More
