Accessibility

Our commitment

The Bloor Pain Specialists clinic is committed to providing equitable and accessible services and facilities. We are dedicated to being accessible and compliant in all accessibility standards of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and in creating a welcoming, barrier-free environment for patients, staff, and the community. Accommodation is a term used to describe the supports, services, and resources made available to individuals with disabilities, such as mobility and communication supports, service animals, assistive devices, and documents in different formats. These ensure that all programs and services are accessible to the entire community.

Service Animals

Due to operating room sterility as well as safety concerns for other patients (i.e. allergies), we ask you to avoid bringing any animals including service animals to the clinic premises. If your medical care requires a service animal, we strongly suggest speaking to your referring doctor to seek care in a hospital setting where care can be optimized in a safer manner.
